Spring Awakening in Our Apiary

back to news

With the arrival of warmer days, our apiary has come back to life. The bees have already completed their first cleansing flights and begun collecting pollen from early spring blossoms.

Two important apiary inspections are already behind us. At the end of February, we checked food reserves and ensured the hives were in good order. In early April, we expanded the brood chambers, giving the growing colonies more space to develop.

Our worker bees are now busy bringing in pollen needed to raise young bees while carefully maintaining the temperature inside the hive. The colonies are growing stronger each day as they prepare for the weeks ahead.

The success of this season’s honey harvest will also depend on the weather. Adequate rainfall and favourable temperatures play a key role in plant flowering and nectar availability. We are already planning our next visits to the hives and look forward to sharing more updates from our apiary in the months to come.
